Set in a former monastery, Das Hornsteiner offers a unique experience with fantastic features. The room, although different from the photos, was refurbished and looked great. We stayed in a double room with a sofa and garden view, providing a cozy atmosphere. The location was superb, in the heart of Passau, near the train station and surrounded by cultural gems.The free WiFi throughout the property was convenient, and the sauna added a touch of luxury to our stay. We also enjoyed the variation of breakfast options and the cafe upstairs. The attentive staff made us feel welcome, ensuring a pleasant experience overall. The property's safety features were reassuring, with a fire extinguisher, smoke detector, and first aid kit in place.Although the entrance didn't meet typical hotel standards, the room exceeded our expectations. Despite minor initial surprises, such as towels in the corridor, everything else was top-notch. The homemade breakfast was superb, and the service was excellent. We were pleased with the pet-friendly accommodation and would happily return for another stay. Das Hornsteiner provided a comfortable and satisfying experience in Passau.
